Ingredients
- 8 juicy medium-sized tomatoes
- 50 grams butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin or coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon allspice
Method
- Cut out the core of the tomatoes quite deeply.
- Mix together the butter, ground cumin or coriander, paprika, salt and allspice.
- Press equal amounts of the mixture into each tomato.
- Place tomatoes, butter-end upwards in a baking dish and spread any remaining butter on top.
- Bake at 160ºC for 1-1¼ hours until well cooked.
