Great on toast for breakfast or a great way to have tomatoes with a main course. For breakfast, add crispy grilled bacon and crispy lettuce leaves.
Ingredients
- 1 kg baby tomatoes, preferably on the vine
- 4 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 tsp ground sumac
- 2-3 tsp ground black pepper
Method
- Sit the tomatoes in an oven-proof dish and drizzle over the olive oil.
- Scatter with sumac and pepper.
- Bake at 180°C 10-12 minutes or until the skins are just about to split. Cool.
